  • Eight Panthers Honored with Academic All-Region Designation

    Eight Tompkins Cortland Community College student-athletes have been recognized as Academic All-Region by Region III of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Bridger Carreau (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter H.S.), Nicole Deselets (Cherry Valley/Cherry Valley H.S.), Sage Garrison (Odessa/Odessa-Montour H.S.), Amanda Green (Lansing/Lansing H.S.), Austin Kulas (Moravia/Moravia), Cecelia Swan (Cassadaga Valley/Cassadaga Valley H.S.), Ridge Walker (Moravia/Moravia), and Kaylie Yerdon (Cherry Valley/Cherry Valley) were recognized for their excellence in the classroom.
  • Bailey Rose Voted All-MSAC

    Tompkins Cortland Community College sophomore Bailey Rose (Dryden/Dryden H.S.) has been voted to the Mid-State Athletic Conference softball all-conference team. A total of 16 players were selected to the all-conference team by the coaches from the six MSAC programs.
  • Softball Season Ends at Erie

    The 2018 season came to an end for the Tompkins Cortland Community College softball team Sunday with the Panthers on the losing end of a doubleheader sweep at Erie Community College. The Panthers lost by scores of 12-1 and 10-2 to end the season with a record of 6-14. Erie improves to 16-10.
  • Panthers Softball at Jefferson Cancelled

    The softball doubleheader scheduled for Friday, May 4 at Jefferson Community College will not be played. The weather-related cancellation leaves the Sunday, May 6 doubleheader at Erie Community College as the last remaining date on the schedule for the Panthers.

  • Panthers Softball Drops Home Finale

    The nicest day of the season weather-wise didn’t translate into a nice day results-wise for the Tompkins Cortland Community College softball team Tuesday as the Panthers dropped both ends of a doubleheader with Mohawk Valley Community College, 10-4 and 11-3. The Panthers are now 6-10 on the year while Mohawk Valley improves to 2-10.
  • Sunday Softball vs. Niagara Cancelled

    The softball doubleheader against Niagara County Community College scheduled for Sunday, 4/29, has been cancelled due to the weather. The Panthers hope to return to action Tuesday at home against Mohawk Valley Community College for a doubleheader that was originally scheduled for earlier in the season but postponed due to the weather.
  • Saturday Softball Games Cancelled

    The scheduled doubleheader between Tompkins Cortland and Genesee Community College has been cancelled. Genesee has forfeited both games to the Panthers.
  • Panthers Softball Rides Offense to Sweep of Finger Lakes

    A pair of slugfests went the way of the Tompkins Cortland Community College softball team Tuesday as the Panthers wept a doubleheader from Finger Lakes Community College, 14-6 and 20-11. The Panthers are now 4-6 overall and in Region III. Finger Lakes drops to 2-18 overall and 1-11 in region.
  • Softball Drops Pair at Adirondack

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College softball team dropped a pair of road games Sunday, falling to SUNY Adirondack 13-4 and 14-12. The Panthers are now 2-6 on the year. Adirondack improves to 6-8 overall and 6-0 in Region III.

    Saturday’s softball doubleheader with Onondaga Community College has been postponed due to poor field conditions. A makeup date has not yet been determined.

    Thursday's scheduled softball doubleheader at Jefferson Community College has been postponed due to the weather and field conditions. The schools are looking for a possible makeup date, but nothing has been set.
  • Panthers Sweep FMCC for First Wins

    The Tompkins Cortland Community College softball team picked up its first wins of the season Wednesday, winning a pair of games in very different styles over Fulton-Montgomery Community College. The Panthers won by scores of 1-0 and 13-5 to improve to 2-4 on the year. It was the season opener for Fulton-Montgomery.
  • Tuesday Baseball and Softball Postponed

    The baseball doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, April 17 at Genesee Community College and the softball doubleheader scheduled to be played at Fulton-Montgomery Community College have been postponed due to the weather and field conditions. The softball team will look to play on Wednesday, April 18 at FMCC. No makeup date has been set for baseball.
  • Panthers Softball Struggles Against National Power

    The first road trip of the year could not have been any more difficult for the Tompkins Cortland Community College softball team. On Saturday, the Panthers traveled to Herkimer to take on the defending regional champions and the team currently ranked #2 in the nation. The result was a sweep for Herkimer by scores of 23-0 and 13-0. The result leaves the Panthers at 0-4 on the season while Herkimer moves to 7-3 overall and 6-0 in Region III.
  • Panthers Softball Opens 2018 Season at Home
    April 13, 2018
    After having the first four dates on the schedule postponed, the Tompkins Cortland Community College softball team finally got the 2018 season underway Friday, hosting SUNY Broome for a doubleheader in Dryden. The Panthers showed signs of promise but ultimately dropped both games by final scores of 18-4 and 16-8. Broome improves to 4-0 on the season with the sweep.

    Mother Nature has struck again, this time claiming the softball team's season opener as its victim. The Panthers doubleheader scheduled for Thursday, April 5 at Erie Community College has been postponed. A makeup date has not yet been determined.
  • English Named All-MSAC
    June 12, 2017
    Tompkins Cortland Community College sophomore Quincy English (Lehman Alternative Community School/Ithaca) has earned all-conference softball recognition from the Mid-State Athletic Conference. In voting by the coaches from the seven MSAC programs, English was one of the 16 players voted all-conference.
