  • Mustapha Voted All-Region

    Kyla Mustapha has done something no TC3 women’s basketball player has done since 2019 - been voted NJCAA Region 3 All-Region. The freshman was voted to the second team, becoming the first Panther since Taylor Day in 2018-19 season to be voted as one of the best players in the region.

    Tompkins Cortland Community College women's basketball player Kyla Mustapha has been voted to the Mid-State Athletic Conference all-conference team. Mustapha was voted to the second team by the coaches in the eight-team conference. Michaela Jean-Philippe and Melody Fann received Honorable Mention.
  • Overtime Loss for Panthers in Season Finale

    The regular season came to a dramatic close for the Panthers on Wednesday, as the women came all the way back from a big deficit early, only to see a late lead slip away and end with an overtime loss to Genesee Community College. The 63-58 loss leaves the Panthers with a record of 4-15 overall and 3-9 in the Mid-state Athletic Conference. Genesee is now 11-11 overall and 4-7 in the MSAC.
  • Panthers Edge Broome for Second-Straight Win

    A day after snapping a losing streak, the Panthers now have a winning streak. TC3 edged SUNY Broome 58-52 for their second straight win, improving the overall record to 4-14 and their Mid-State Athletic Conference record to 3-8. Broome falls to 4-15 overall and 3-8 in the MSAC.
  • Panthers Snap Skid with Win on Sophomore Day

    The Panthers snapped their 11-game losing streak in dominating fashion on Saturday, setting a season high in points while cruising past Finger Lakes Community College 81-63. TC3 is now 3-13 overall and 2-8 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference, while Finger Lakes drops to 3-17 overall and 1-9 in conference.
  • Slow Start Too Much for Panthers to Overcome at Corning
    February 11, 2026
    A slow start put the Panthers in an early double-digit deficit at Corning, a deficit that proved to be too much to overcome in a 72-61 loss to the Red Barons. TC3 is now 2-13 overall and 1-8 in the MSAC; Corning is now 11-7 overall and 8-1 in conference.
  • Panthers Fall to Nation's #7
    February 03, 2026
    The Panthers hosted #7-ranked Onondaga Community College Tuesday for a Mid-State Athletic Conference contest. The home team held a lead in the opening minutes, but the visiting Lazers took complete control early and cruised to a 99-40 win over the Panthers. TC3 is now 2-12 overall and 1-7 in the MSAC; Onondaga is 16-3 overall and 6-1 in conference.
  • Last-Second Loss for Panthers
    January 31, 2026
    The final of three lead changes in the closing moments sent the Panthers to a heart-breaking loss to North Country Community College on Saturday. The 52-51 defeat leaves the Panthers with a record of 2-11. North Country improves to 7-10 with the win.
  • Mustapha Sets Scoring Record in Loss

    The scoring hot streak for Kyla Mustapha reached a new level on Saturday as the freshman set a Panthers single-game scoring record by dropping 40 points in the 68-57 road loss to Finger Lakes Community College. TC3 is now 2-10 overall and 1-6 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Finger Lakes improves to 3-10 overall and 1-4 in the MSAC.
  • Corning Hands Panthers Home Loss

    For the first time this season, the Panthers had a player top 30 points and another player reach 20, but it wasn’t enough as the home team fell to Corning, 89-66. TC3 is now 2-9 overall and 1-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Corning improves to 5-6 overall and 4-0 in conference.
  • Panthers Fall to #9 Fulton-Montgomery
    January 17, 2026
    The Panthers dropped a road game to #9-ranked Fulton-Montgomery Community College Saturday, losing 92-40. The second straight loss to a top ten-ranked team drops the Panthers to 2-8 on the season.
  • Mustapha Scores 30 in Loss to #8 Jefferson

    Freshman Kyla Mustapha had one of the biggest scoring nights in program history on Wednesday, but it wasn’t nearly enough as the Panthers lost to #8-ranked Jefferson Community College 90-35. TC3 is now 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson improves to 8-3 overall and 4-0 in the MSAC.
  • Panthers Drop Home Game to Broome
    January 11, 2026
    Playing for the first time in a month, the Panthers women’s basketball team dropped a home game to SUNY Broome on Sunday, 65-51. Both TC3 and Broome now have records of 2-6 overall on the season.
  • Panthers Close Semester with Tough Home Loss

    The Panthers looked to end the semester on a high note, hosting Mohawk Valley on Sunday. But just like the day before, one bad quarter spelled doom for the Panthers as the Hawks handed TC3 a 59-47 defeat. TC3 now heads to break with a record of 2-5 while Mohawk Valley is 5-3.
  • Third Quarter Dooms Panthers in Home Loss

    When the Panthers hosted Herkimer College on Saturday, one quarter made all the difference as TC3 lost 74-54. The loss leaves TC3 with a record of 2-4 while Herkimer improves to 4-5.

    It was a slow start for the TC3 women on Wednesday, and when the opponent is one of the top teams in the country, the result is likely to not be good. That’s what happened to Panthers as they traveled to Watertown and lost to #5-ranked Jefferson Community College, 79-46. TC3 is now 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson improves to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the MSAC.
  • Panthers Can't Hang On vs. Hudson Valley
    November 15, 2025
    Dressing just five players due to injuries, the TC3 women’s basketball team nearly pulled out a win at home on Saturday. The Panthers led most of the way against Hudson Valley Community College but couldn’t hold on in a 58-52 loss. The Panthers are now 1-2 while Hudson Valley is now 3-1.
  • Panthers Women's Basketball Drops Road Game to Onondaga

    The Panthers tasted defeat for the first time this season, dropping a road game to Onondaga Community College on Wednesday, 84-51. The Panthers are now 1-1 so far this season; Onondaga improves to 3-0.
  • Panthers Open Season with Road Win at Genesee

    The 2025-26 season got off on the right foot for the Panthers as the women’s basketball team posted a 69-64 win over conference-rival Genesee Community College. It marks the second straight season that TC3 opened the season with a win over Genesee.
