Tompkins Cortland's Caleb Thompson has been named the NJCAA Division III National Pitcher of the Week. Thompson had superb outing in his shutout win over Adirondack, tossing a one-hitter and striking out eight.

He is the second Panther ever to be recognized with a national baseball player of the week honors. Malik Fogg earned the honors in 2015, the same year he was voted an NJCAA All-American.
