After Day One of the NJCAA Region 3 Golf Championship, two Tompkins Cortland Community College golfers are in the hunt for All-Region honors.
Playing a two-day tournament at Glen Oak Golf Club in East Amherst, Cole Dalton (Apalachin/Owego Free Academy) opened with an 89, just two strokes out of All-Region position. Patrick Tammariello (Owego/Owego Free Academy) was three strokes back at 92 at the tournament's midway point.
The top 18 golfers at the end of the tournament earn All-Region honors. Day Two is Tuesday.
