Five Tompkins Cortland Community College players have earned spots on the Mid-State Athletic Conference men's lacrosse all-conference team. In voting by the coaches from the five MSAC programs, Anthony Irizarry (Middletown/Middletown H.S.), Jack Collmer (Vernon/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill H.S.), Jonathan Phillips (Cortland/Cortland H.S.), Nick Smith (Cortland/Cortland H.S.), and Matthew Bisono (Deer Park H.S./Deer Park) were among the 20 named to the team. The five represent the most all-conference selections in a season in the history of Tompkins Cortland's lacrosse program. Conference champion Onondaga Community College had the most all-conference selections with eight, followed by the five for conference runners-up Tompkins Cortland.
All five Panther selections are sophomores. Irizarry led the team in scoring while setting season records for points and assists and game records for points and goals. Collmer was second on the team in scoring this year and finished his two years tied for third on the College's career goals scored list. Phillips anchored the defense and led the team in causing opponents turnovers. Smith was a long stick midfielder, finishing in the top three on the team in groundballs and caused turnovers. Bisono was fourth on the team in scoring and second in assists.
Conference champion Onondaga Community College led all programs with eight all-conference selections. Tompkins Cortland, the conference runner-up, had the second most selections with five.
In addition to being the most selections in a year, this year marks the seventh straight season the Panthers have placed a player on the all-conference team.
