The opening of Region 3 play brought the Panthers home to host Hudson Valley on Wednesday. After a close opening quarter, the visitors pulled away for a 15-6 final score. The loss drops TC3 to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in Region 3. Hudson Valley is now 1-1 overall and in region.

Goals by Joey Vrendenburgh and Brendan Estes kept the Panthers within striking distance in the first quarter, which ended with Hudson Valley up 4-2. The Vikings took control of the game by outscoring the Panthers 6-1 over the middle two quarters. The Panthers rallied for three scores in the fourth quarter, but it was too late to have an impact on the final result.

Thomas Kirnie led TC3 with three points on a goal and two assists. Estes scored two goals and Vrendenburgh had a goal and an assist for two points each. Davonte Conklin and Jimmy Craft each had a goal and Mark Darling added an assist.

Cameron Cherry had 21 saves in goal.
