After blowing a late lead, the Panthers rallied for an extra-inning win in game one, scoring six runs in the eighth inning on route to a 9-5 win. Another blown lead in game two couldn't be overcome, as the Panthers gave up seven runs in the seventh inning and lost 11-5. The split leaves TC3 with a record of 4-16 overall and 2-6 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Genesee stands at 12-20 overall and 2-6 in the MSAC.

Game One: Tompkins Cortland 9, Genesee 5  (eight innings)

TC3 led most of the game, including 3-1 after five innings and 3-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh. In the home half of the inning, Genesee took advantage of Panthers miscues to score the tying run, but pitcher Elizabeth Martin came up big in limiting the damage to one run and sending the game to extra innings. In the top of the eighth, the Panthers broke things open with six runs, giving Martin plenty of cushion to close out her complete game effort with a win.

Game Two: Genesee 11, Tompkins Cortland 5

The Panthers had a chance for a sweep, holding a 5-4 lead heading into the last inning, but couldn't close things out. A seven-run seventh for Genesee gave the Cougars a big lead, and proved to be the final margin in the 11-5 final.
