**The result of this game was changed to a forfeit win for TC3 after Bunker Hill discovered they had played an ineligible player. The recap below reflects the action on the field before the forfeit was announced**

Despite taking twice as many shots as their opponent, the Panthers women's soccer team came up short on Sunday, falling 3-1 to Bunker Hill Community College. The non-region contest with the school out of Boston, Massachusetts leaves TC3 at 0-2 on the year. Bunker Hill is now 1-1.

TC3 possessed the ball the majority of the game, but both teams had difficulty getting quality chances. Bunker Hill's first chance came in the 15th minute of play, and resulted in the first goal. The Panthers finally broke through in the 25th minute, with Marlee Hogan (Auburn/Auburn H.S.) scoring the first goal of the year for TC3, knotting the game at 1-1. The visiting Bulldogs answered quickly with two more goals before halftime, making the score 3-1 at the break. Each team had a couple of shots on goal in the second half, but neither could change the scoreboard before the final horn.

Jushawna Crane (Cincinnatus/Cincinnatus H.S.) saw the majority of time in goal, recoding two saves in her collegiate debut.

Looking ahead
