The road was unkind for the Tompkins Cortland Community College volleyball team as the Panthers lost in straight sets to Erie Community College on Thursday. The Panthers are now 1-4 while Erie is 5-6.

The Panthers struggled to get anything going against the Kats, starting slowly in each set and ending with a lopsided loss. Arianna Manwaring (Tioga/Tioga Central H.S.) finished with three kills, two digs, and a block. Madison Kelly (Moravia/Moravia H.S.) also had three kills and a block.

Looking ahead

The Panthers are scheduled to play Niagara County Community College on Sunday.
