The TC3 men's basketball team made it three in a row with a 79-67 win at Jefferson Community College Wednesday. The Panthers are 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Jefferson is now 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the MSAC.
The Panthers took the lead early and stretched it double figures halfway through the first half. The Cannoneers got within eight in the final minute of the second half, but the Panthers socked away the win by netting the final four points of the game.
Jah-Mel Bruce reached 20 points for the fourth time in five games this season, scoring a team-best 23 points and grabbing a team-leading 10 rebounds. Kashif Summers, Jr. came up one board shy of a double-double, finishing with 13 points and 9 rebounds.
Looking ahead
The Panthers are home this weekend, hosting Herkimer College on Saturday and Mohawk Valley Community College on Sunday.
