Panthers Snap Skid with Win at Broome

Three goals by Stanley Wiggins (Wallyford, Scotland/Musselburgh H.S.) helped the Panthers men's soccer team snap a four-game skid by beating SUNY Broome 4-1. The road win moves the Panthers to 2-4-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Broome falls to 1-7-0 overall and 0-5-0 in the MSAC.

It marks the first career hat trick for Wiggins, who leads the team with six goals this season. Caspar Kirby (Gerrards Cross, England/Berkshire College of Agriculture) netted the other goal, while Jay Pearson (Penicuik, Scotland/Queen Victoria School) had two assists and Reuben Shaw (Bideford, England/Great Torrington School) added one helper for the winners.

Tom Angus (Edinburgh, Scotland/Portobello) and Cillian Lynch (Dublin, Ireland/St. Vincent's School) time in goal, with Angus starting and recording 15 saves. Lynch was in goal for 30 minutes, producing three saves.
