The Panthers looked to end the semester on a high note, hosting Mohawk Valley on Sunday. But just like the day before, one bad quarter spelled doom for the Panthers as the Hawks handed TC3 a 59-47 defeat. TC3 now heads to break with a record of 2-5 while Mohawk Valley is 5-3.
The Panthers trailed at halftime, 23-18, but came storming back with a 23-point third quarter to lead 41-40 heading into the final period. Things went sideways in the fourth, as Mohawk Valley took advantage of a decided advantage at the free throw line to regain the lead and pull away for the win. Thanks to a season-high 25 fouls called against the home team during the game, the Panthers finished the game with just three players on the floor. The large number of fouls, combined with only eight fouls being called on Mohawk Valley – the least called against a TC3 opponent all season – led to the Hawks taking 29 free throws compared to just 8 for TC3.
Samiyah Williams scored 16 points to go with 7 rebounds while Kyla Mustapha had another double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds while also recording 8 steals and 5 assists. Melody Fann and Rylan Robicheaux each scored 7 points with Fann grabbing 7 rebounds and Robicheaux pulling down 6.
Looking ahead
The Panthers have a month off for finals and holidays before returning to host Monroe community College on January 8, 2026.
