For the first time this season, the Panthers had a player top 30 points and another player reach 20, but it wasn't enough as the home team fell to Corning, 89-66. TC3 is now 2-9 overall and 1-5 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Corning improves to 5-6 overall and 4-0 in conference.
The game was tight early, with Corning holding a 20-18 lead after the first quarter. The Red Barons spread the lead in the second, heading to the half up 46-33, before putting the game away with a big third quarter, ending the period ahead 74-49.
Kyla Mustapha pushed her season average over 20 points per game by scoring a career-high 31, adding 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 steals to her line. Cortney Scutt also netted a career-high, scoring 20 points behind 4-of-7 shooting from 3-point range. Ndeye Seynabou Thiam posted 7 points and Rylan Robicheaux added 6 points and 9 boards.
