The Jayhawks, coming off some excellent results against top-ranked NJCAA opponents last week, raced out to a 4-0 lead by the 26th minute in Dryden. Not to let such a special day be ruined with such a poor start, Stanley Wiggins got TC3 on the board to make the lead 3. Shortly after, Jay Pearson would add to the score sheet, cutting the JCC lead to 4-2 at the break. TC3's Ewan Phillips made it a tight 4-3 match midway through the second half thanks to an assist from Wiggins. Wiggins continued to stack up points, tying it up with an unassisted goal - 4 to 4! With just under eight to go, the Panthers would complete the magical match when Jay Pearson served a perfect ball to Tom Angus for TC3's fifth and final goal to seal the victory at 5-4! Entering in the 26th minute, sophomore goalkeeper Thomas Houlihan made five saves and kept a clean sheet to earn the win.
